14 brokers in our data let you trade from TradingView charts. A forex day trader opens and closes the same day and pays the spread on every round trip, so they are ranked by EUR/USD cost from terms published up to 19 Oct 2026.
Low Spread Brokers does not give personal investment advice.
For traders who chart through the session and close before the daily rollover. TradingView is the filter because it is the one charting platform most of these brokers connect to; MT4 and MT5 users will find their lists linked below. Read first:how we rankhow we make moneyrankings by country
On published costs, Pepperstone comes first: Razor from 0.0 pips plus GBP 2.25 per lot per side, with TradingView, MT4, MT5 and cTrader. CMC Markets and OANDA follow. Day trading in forex is costly to get wrong: brokers on this site disclose that 55–88% of retail CFD accounts lose money, depending on the entity.
Close before the rollover or you pay an overnight swap; check the broker’s rollover time, usually set to the New York close.
Trade the hours you can watch: spreads are lowest when the London and New York sessions overlap.
UK day traders: the brokers here with an FCA entity are CMC Markets, FxPro, IG, OANDA, Pepperstone, Saxo, ThinkMarkets, Tickmill and Vantage.

What the table shows
Licence numbers as each broker publishes them (we have not yet matched them on the registers), which entity serves which country, and spreads with the date we copied them from the broker’s own pages.
How to use this table
Sort by score, spread or minimum deposit. Deposits stay in the broker’s own currency, so compare them only within one currency.

Highest score in our data
Our day-trading pick for October 2026
Pepperstone publishes Tier 1 licences from 5 regulators and quotes EUR/USD from 0.0 pips on its Razor account (checked 19 Oct 2026). The trade-off: the lowest prices need the Razor account and its per-lot commission.
A day trader may make several round trips a day. On EUR/USD that is a spread from 1.0 pips on Pepperstone’s standard account, or 0.0 pips plus GBP 2.25 per lot per side on Razor.
If you already chart in TradingView, trade from it. If your day trading forex strategy runs on indicators or expert advisors in MetaTrader, start from the MT4 or MT5 list.
Under Tier 1 rules a retail position on a major pair needs at least 1/30 of its value as margin. Size positions from your stop-loss and the share of the account you accept to lose, not from the leverage on offer.
Saxo’s Australian business now trades as Totality Wealth, and FXCM UK is selling its client book to Trade Nation. Check the entity, then its licence number on the register.

We have no affiliate or advertising agreements with brokers, and no click to a broker is paid. If that changes, the site will say so first; partner status is not an input to any score, whose formulas use spreads, platforms, licences and account terms only.
What we don’t do
No bonuses or sign-up offers. No offshore leverage presented as a feature. No claim that we tested an account we have not opened. No personal investment advice.
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford the high risk of losing your money.
Low Spread Brokers does not give personal investment advice.
Brokers here start from £0 (CMC Markets) to $100 (Tickmill). What you need depends on position size: at 1:30 a 0.1 lot of EUR/USD ties up about EUR 333 of margin, and the account must also absorb losing days.
Data collected up to 19 Oct 2026
2Which session is best for day trading forex?
For EUR/USD and GBP/USD, the London morning and the hours when London and New York overlap carry the most volume and usually the tightest spreads. The Asian session suits yen and Australian-dollar pairs.
Data collected up to 19 Oct 2026
3Do day traders pay overnight swaps?
Not if every position is closed before the broker’s daily rollover. A position open at rollover pays or earns a swap; swap rates are not in our data as of 19 Oct 2026, so check the broker’s swap table.
Data collected up to 19 Oct 2026
4What is a day trading forex strategy?
Any plan that opens and closes within one session: breakouts of the overnight range, trend pullbacks on 15-minute charts, or trades around scheduled data. Each needs a fixed stop, a position size from that stop and a record of results after costs.
Data collected up to 19 Oct 2026
5Is day trading forex profitable?
For most retail clients it is not: the brokers in our data disclose that 55–88% of retail CFD accounts lose money, depending on the entity. A cost advantage of a tenth of a pip does not change that.
Data collected up to 19 Oct 2026
6Can I day trade forex in the UK?
Yes, with an FCA-authorised firm. Brokers on this list with an FCA entity: CMC Markets, FxPro, IG, OANDA, Pepperstone, Saxo, ThinkMarkets, Tickmill and Vantage. Retail leverage on major pairs is capped at 1:30 for UK clients.
